We are a family run business, set up by Ross and Amanda primarily through our love of the ‘outdoors’ and the Lake District We provide a bespoke adventure or experience to suit your personal requirements.
We pride ourselves in being able to tailor your ‘experience’ to suit personal goals or abilities. You may wish to go on a fully guided walk exploring the tranquil gems of the lower fells and farmland with the family or traverse some of the higher ridges of the Cumbrian mountains, go on a mountain bike amble or test your skills on the ‘eyeballs out’ lesser known bridleways in the Lakes. We can provide activities and adventure for all the family, groups or on a one to one basis. We are able to provide a range of experiences with fully qualified guides and instructors from half day excursions to multi day, over night expeditions
Our home is Longmire Farm a Grade II Listed working Lakeland farm nestling in the picturesque Rusland Valley just below Grizedale Forest, with Coniston Water and Lake Windermere being only a few miles away. Along with our family farm near Ambleside which has accommodation (www.grovecottages.com) we have the perfect locations to be able to access some the most beautiful, stunning and dramatic areas the Lake District has to offer.
